Chris Fallon is a numbers guru who is passionate about supporting change-makers and community leaders who are doing good work in the world. He believes in supporting business owners to use their accounting and bookkeeping systems to create joy and clarity.

A Message From Chris

I’m Chris Fallon, the Founder and Principal at Numbers Matter. I’m committed to helping you design your business systems so that they support you and your goals. 

I’ve been counting things for as long as I can remember. 

In fact, I’d have to admit I’m slightly obsessive-compulsive.  From a young age, I counted things, from ceiling tiles, slots in light fixtures, tiles on a wall, people in crowds, autos that are white, etc.

I was endlessly fascinated by business, too… 

How businesses worked, how they were structured, and why people started businesses instead of being employed by one. As a kid in rural Pennsylvania, Mom would drive us to the nearest mall, over an hour away, to go to a bookstore. I’d beeline to the newspaper section where I’d spend my money on the latest edition of the Financial Times, which is still printed on pink paper to this day.

I knew quite early that I wanted to have my own business

In college at Gannon University, I also realized I wanted to help other business owners succeed.  In the 80s, there were often Bachelor of Arts for Business degrees, but I wanted the rigor of a university program that conferred a Bachelor of Science degree, which Gannon had. I returned there for my MBA, graduating in 1991.  

I’ve assembled a team with a wide range of skills 

We can serve you beginning with your data entry, transaction recording, and reconciliation of your accounts, through sales tax calculations, financial statement preparation, financial statement audits (including auditing statements prepared by other firms), premier payroll service, 401K set up, and worker’s comp insurance. We have CPAs and Enrolled Agents on staff to handle tax planning and complex tax work. We also provide representation to the IRS, and IRS audit protection. 

We work almost exclusively with Intuit products (QuickBooks)

Everyone on the team carries the appropriate level of Intuit certification.

I have decades of experience in helping business owners

I have been blessed to work with some of my clients for over 20 years.
